- Can I tell how many people are visiting my site?
- Can I tell who is visiting my site?
You can't tell who is visiting your site, but you can tell how many people are visiting,
and what IP address they're coming from.
You can also tell which pages on your site are the most popular,
what time of the day you get the most visitors,
even what kind of browser your visitors are using.
To learn how, see the next question.
- How do I see what kind of traffic I'm getting on my site?
Go to the URL https://secure.hol.com/~username/webmaster/wusage.
For example, if your username is "hawaii", you would go to
https://secure.hol.com/~hawaii/webmaster/wusage.
Log in with your webmaster username and password.
You'll find graphical statistics which are updated nightly.
- Can I get the raw logs so I can use my own web analyzer?
Sure. Raw logs are available for download and you can run your
own analysis program on them. FTP to
mahiai.aloha.net
with your webmaster username and password. Download the files
from your home directory, in public_html/webmaster/logs.
Access logs are named accesses_day.log, and
error logs are named errors_day.log. Logs are kept
for 7 days.
